About
I’ve loved writing for as long as I can remember. When I was nine, I decided to rewrite Little Women because I wanted to write a different ending than Louisa May Alcott’s. My first publicity gig was making posters for my high school’s production of “My Fair Lady.”
That was more years ago than I care to count. I’ve worked in writing-related fields ever since, at magazines, newspapers, state agencies, arts organizations, and nonprofits, and have professional training as a researcher, interviewer, and historian. I still enjoy putting thoughts into words and editing what’s already been written. As a freelance writer and editor, I help clients express themselves in exactly the ways they need, in order to get what they need, whether that means more clients of their own, new grant funding, standing-room-only attendance at an event, or an article ready for publication. Here’s more about how I expanded my business with the help of the New Ventures Maine.
Take a look around my website. Then call or email me, and we can talk about what good writing can do for you, your business, or your organization. Thanks, and I’ll look forward to talking with you.
